MY BEST PICTURES DURING SUMMER SEI
These pictures show many things that I've learned in digital photography this summer. The first picture, in black and white, shows how lighting can alter the way the image is viewed. I learned that pictures can look good in black and white too. The shapes of the photo really stand out. It also gives you a different viewpoint above the subject. There is emotion present as well, I have a little grin on my face. I chose this image, because it shows that even when I try to be serious, I smile.
The second picture is truly my best picture all summer. The water fountains and curves draw the eye to really analyze the picture. The color is not too light or dark. Mr. Winters taught me how to adjust the exposure to make the image more balanced. Finally, the third picture shows a good balance. The colors mix very well. The color balance adds to the realistic affect of the photo. Overall I can say that I learned many handy tools to good picture taking.
My last picture taught me how to properly insert myself into another background. Although the subject is not following the rule of thirds, it serves a purpose. There are exceptions to the rule of thirds. This placement of the subject gives the subject more power in the picture. The black and white blends the subject into the background. These photos really show what I've learned in the digital photography class.
