I choose these pictures because they show what Upward Bound is, how us as the students, how we represent this program. The bottom picture of me in the soccer goal was from our first post/blog. It was my first, "Follow Rule of Thirds, and Capture the Light."
The first picture is one of our mentors calling us to attention with
the famous, " UB! Gather around... come in close." This pictures shows a
set attraction with the group all facing Pharamond and the balance with
the black and white with Nina and Rebecca. Finally, the second photo
just show the photography class. This was at a point when everyone was
having photographer block and we were just hanging out. Oh and my Ghost
Rider picture was just for fun because now I can go anywhere in the
world with the help of Photoshop.
This as definitely one of y favorite classes, just for the simple fact that I learned you don't always need a professional camera to take amazing pictures because smartphones are just a great. And with the right lighting, angle, and the perfect rule of thirds... You have the perfect pictures.
